Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and greet employees and visitors with professionalism. In this role, you will stay visible, communicate clearly, and contribute to a smooth daily operation. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and report unusual activity or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact daily operations within a logistics and distribution environment.
