About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor visitor activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, loading areas, and/or other restricted points to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Assist with visitor management, contractor check-in, and delivery coordination while maintaining accurate logs, issuing temporary credentials when required, and communicating relevant security-related information to site personnel.
