About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screener in San Bernardino, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor site activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The position is full-time and pays $18.95 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related access authorization, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records according to site procedures.
Control access to freight areas, docks, gates, and restricted operational spaces; report unauthorized access attempts and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
