About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Point Specialist in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies for a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and/or confirm visitor authorization to help control property access in accordance with community guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and/or visitor records related to access activity, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around common areas, amenities, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
