As a Security Officer Entry Point Coordinator in East Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized persons and/or deliveries, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and communication records related to access control activity, incidents, and daily operations at the location.
