Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, greeting visitors, and assisting with sign-in, badge distribution, and general questions.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and front desk records related to visitor activity, deliveries, calls, and other security-related events.
  • Support a professional lobby presence by observing activity in reception and nearby entry areas and helping to deter disruptions through visible attentiveness and timely communication.
