You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities, including verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, and documenting entry and exit activity.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
