About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Credential Coordinator in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entrances, managing visitor and badge access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a caring, team-focused culture. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry points and verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, including reviewing identification, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain visitor logs, issue and recover access credentials as directed, and provide clear directions to approved areas of the facility.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, restricted locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
