About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Enrollment in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, managing badge activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or retrieve access badges in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, access-control issues, incidents, and unusual observations through required reports and logs.
