About The Position

As a Security Officer - Credential Records in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will help deter security-related incidents through attentive access monitoring, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, and following established entry procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or access-control concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, complete required reports, and support a professional environment at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
