About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Review in Seadrift, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and supporting visitors and personnel with professional service. You will use technology to document incidents and communicate clearly with site teams while helping to deter security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records.
  • Screen and direct visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements for restricted and operational areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report unusual activity and policy violations through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
