About The Position

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Screen and direct deliveries, contractors, and other authorized personnel while communicating access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established chemical facility procedures and notification protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
