Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a smooth flow of people and deliveries. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing steps, and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, maintain access logs, and report irregular activity or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support screening of vendors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, help to deter policy violations, and document observations, incidents, and daily activity in required reports.
