About The Position

As a Security Officer Entrance Monitor in Umatilla, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering a reliable, caring, and team-oriented presence grounded in integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Screen and document visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, maintain required access logs, and communicate relevant activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting unusual activity and following post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
