Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs with clear communication, and represent a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store team members by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor high-traffic retail areas for policy compliance, assist with de-escalation during customer-related issues, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing merchandise areas, receiving zones, and checkout locations for suspicious behavior and reporting security-related issues according to post procedures.
