About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Property Protection for an assigned financial institution site in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with opportunities to increase hours up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 7:15 AM–6:15 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a security-related license may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor authorization according to site procedures; interact professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Accurately document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
