About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Pharmacy Patrol in San Diego, California. The position provides a reliable weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that designated site and schedule. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the flexibility to increase or reduce their hours; additional shifts may be available across multiple sites, up to 40 hours per week. The stated pay rate is $22.32 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
