About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Support in Corpus Christi, Texas, to provide security at a commercial real estate location. The role has a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow hours to increase up to 40 per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The stated schedule is Sunday, 7:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $14.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors; follows security procedures and site policies; responds professionally to incidents and concerns; conducts unarmed patrols; monitors access points; and documents patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant concerns. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 for unarmed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance or security-related concerns through required reports and communication channels.
