About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Ontario, California. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may pick up extra shifts and can build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The schedule listed is Thursday, 12:00 AM–8:30 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

• Possession of a guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and front desk policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor entry activity and respond calmly to security incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, and assist with administrative front desk duties in a professional retail location environment.
• Help deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk and following established access-control procedures.
