About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Monitor for an assigned retail and entertainment site in Exton, Pennsylvania. The position provides consistent anchor shifts on Friday and Saturday evenings, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and weekly schedule. The officer may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week or scale back as needed. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

The role involves providing customer service to guests, tenants, and staff; carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies; responding to incidents and emergencies; conducting patrols; monitoring access points and guest flow; and documenting and communicating relevant observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the venue, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry, exit, and guest flow during regular operations and special events.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
