Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, screening procedures, and visitor management protocols for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through courteous communication and consistent application of security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, direct visitors, patients, and staff to the proper location, and document arrivals, departures, and security-related events in required logs and reports.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by monitoring cameras, phones, and alarm notifications, and by communicating observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
