As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting security-related procedures and responding to concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional front-desk customer service to visitors, employees, patients, and vendors at a healthcare location while following site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events in accordance with site procedures.
  • Observe the lobby and reception area for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and adherence to security-related protocols.
