As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor access procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, escalating unusual activity and/or access concerns as appropriate.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
