As a Security Officer Driving Role Site Inspection in Sugar Grove, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use sound judgment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and storage areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
