About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests and tenants. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing information with site leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, access issues, and/or policy violations, while offering directions and assistance to the public.
  • Support closing and opening activities as assigned, including checking designated areas, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and following post orders for the location.
