About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Specialist in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and other assigned zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access when required, and document security-related events, observations, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, operational concerns, and changing conditions that may impact the location.
