As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, helping to monitor and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying access permissions and following site protocols for visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
  • Support day-to-day site operations by communicating clearly with employees, guests, and/or local responders when needed, and by completing required logs, reports, and other security-related records.
