Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a healthcare location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting arrivals, verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in processes, and helping to support security-related policies.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer phones, provide directions, document activity, and communicate important information to site contacts to help support daily operations and security-related awareness.
- Observe lobby and reception area activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues according to site procedures.
