This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening practices, and visitor management protocols for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and staff access in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
  • Complete reports, logs, and other required documentation related to daily activity, incidents, and security-related observations.
