About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk Attendant in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a government location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and/or vendors, following site-specific policies, and assisting with front desk security-related procedures at a government location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, manage inquiries, and support emergency response activities when appropriate while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and/or other monitoring systems from the front desk, document security-related events, and communicate concerns according to established procedures.
