As a Security Officer Driver Dispatch in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by dispatching the appropriate personnel, coordinating communications between departments and/or responders, and following post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, including the status of calls, officer activity, and unusual events throughout the shift.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when required by site needs, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
