Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by handling calls for assistance, sharing site-specific information, and supporting security-related procedures at an educational location.
• Receive, prioritize, and relay routine and emergency communications to field personnel, campus contacts, and/or local responders in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems, and document activity, incidents, and service requests in required logs and reports.
• Coordinate the dispatch of personnel to incidents, access concerns, medical calls, and/or other critical situations, while updating involved parties as information changes.
• Support regular and random coverage activities by tracking officer status, directing responses across the location, and helping to address unusual or suspicious activity.
