As a Security Officer Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic financial institution location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help support timely responses to security-related concerns. You will play a key part in creating a professional presence through teamwork, strong communication, and a people-first approach grounded in reliability, agility, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, handling access-related communications, and supporting security-related dispatch operations at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and/or other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by gathering details, documenting activity, and relaying timely information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of calls, incidents, visitor activity, and/or after-hours requests in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support the coordination of routine and urgent assignments by communicating with on-site personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity, and following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
