Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, handling incoming calls and radio traffic, and supporting security-related communications for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by gathering information, prioritizing calls for service, and dispatching appropriate personnel and/or resources.
• Monitor communication systems, dispatch consoles, cameras, and other reporting tools to help identify unusual activity and support timely security-related response efforts.
• Document incidents, service requests, and daily activity in logs and reports, maintaining accurate records of dispatch activity, notifications, and follow-up actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
