Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property by checking identification, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or vendor documentation in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access areas to help identify security-related concerns, unauthorized activity, and/or operational issues.
• Support emergency response activities by directing foot traffic, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and documenting security-related events as needed.
