Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies for a busy distribution location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional screening and visitor management practices.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary badges when appropriate, and support check-in and check-out processes for deliveries, appointments, and scheduled arrivals.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate contacts and documenting security-related concerns or unusual activity.
  • Support emergency response activities and front desk communications by relaying information, following post instructions, and assisting with reporting needs in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client location policies.
