Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor credentials, issue access permissions as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, manage visitor logs, and communicate with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, appointments, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required documentation and communication channels.
  • Support access control operations by monitoring entry points, reviewing badges and credentials, and following established policies for employees, contractors, and/or guests.
