As a Security Officer Controlled Entry in Doraville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor and authorize entry and exit of employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel, while verifying credentials and documenting site access activity.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support loss prevention and security-related operations by observing for unusual activity, reporting policy violations, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
