About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity to help support authorized site access and security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access control points to help identify unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Assist with visitor management, delivery coordination, and vehicle screening as needed while maintaining professional communication and following post orders.
