Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and credentialing points to help control authorized entry and exit of personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify identification, issue visitor badges or passes, maintain required logs, and communicate access-related information with site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify potential security-related issues and policy violations.
