Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining entry records in line with location requirements.
  • Answer phones, assist tenants, employees, and guests with directions and general questions, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support front desk operations by observing lobby activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and documenting daily events, incidents, and/or service requests accurately.
