As a Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Operator in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established chemical facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, business areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
  • Monitor and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, hazardous material concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate site contacts.
