About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding service to residents and visitors. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations, and document and report observations according to site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and incident reporting to help maintain an orderly residential environment.
