Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control and other security-related activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
• Monitor access to the location and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by documenting daily activities, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
