As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Alarm Panel Operator in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and laboratory environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials, and assist with maintaining visitor and contractor entry records.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
