Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by coordinating security-related communications, site-specific procedures, and emergency response activities for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and other communication systems, then dispatch appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and critical situations.
  • Document incidents, calls for service, visitor activity, and other security-related events in logs and reporting systems with clear and timely updates.
  • Support access control and after-hours activity by verifying information, communicating with on-site personnel, and helping to route requests to the appropriate department and/or responder.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of activity across the location and perimeter.
