Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a dynamic technology-focused location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by documenting details, prioritizing requests, and coordinating timely communication with supervisors, first responders, and/or designated site contacts.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support daily operations and help address security-related concerns across the location.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, assigning coverage, and communicating updates related to perimeter checks, building conditions, and/or after-hours issues.
