About The Position

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and support screening procedures for personnel, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with location policies.
  • Prepare clear reports of incidents, maintenance concerns, and daily activities, and follow established protocols for security-related issues, hazardous conditions, and operational disruptions.
