As a Security Officer Dispatch in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and other communication systems, and dispatch personnel or notify appropriate contacts in response to incidents, service calls, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and relaying timely updates to site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support site operations, follow-up actions, and/or compliance with location procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when required by site policy, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
