About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Madison, Wisconsin, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution by coordinating communications, monitoring alarm activity and access control systems, documenting incidents, and directing appropriate responses to security-related concerns. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through professional, customer-focused communication and help deter incidents. The role includes carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies, dispatching calls and alarms, maintaining records, and patrolling designated areas and the business perimeter.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel using established communication protocols.
• Monitor communication channels and security-related systems, document activity accurately, and maintain clear incident logs and dispatch records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the business perimeter, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and access concerns.
